Sweater Drive

First created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Neighborhood on PBS, the Mister Rogers' Neighborhood Sweater Drive carries on Fred Rogers' giving spirit by helping children and families share clothing with those who need it. Year after year local PBS stations across the country have partnered with community groups to collect over two million items so far. Thank you to all who have helped with these drives!

We’ve heard from many stations that have exciting plans for hosting a Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood Sweater Drive.  If you are thinking about hosting a drive and you’d like more information please contact us .

We have lots of information here at the office about how PBS stations and community groups have worked together on Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood Sweater Drives. Some communities have partnered with sports teams, dry cleaners, schools, churches, car dealers, banks, museums and science centers and even orchestras.
