“Imagine what our real neighborhoods would be like, if each of us offered as a matter of course, just one kind word to another person...
One kind word has a wonderful way of
turning into many.”                  Fred Rogers

Won’t You Be My Neighbor? Day is an annual event to celebrate Fred Rogers and his legacy of neighborliness on his birthday. Neighbors everywhere are encouraged to wear his or her favorite sweater and promote neighborliness in their neighborhood.  We’re glad to be your neighbor!

This year, we're pleased to partner with The United Way of Allegheny County to promote volunteering. Check out their Facebook page and find out how you can volunteer not only on Neighbor Day, but throughout the year.
