"Backroom Quilters" create two Mister Rogers' sweater quilts

On Saturday, January 31, a group of skilled artisans who meet regularly at the C.C. Mellor Memorial Library in Edgewood, Pa and call themselves the "Backroom Quilters," unveiled two handmade Mister Rogers Sweater Quilts. The unveiling was part of an afternoon dedicated to celebrating the legacy of Fred Rogers and included stories and activities for all ages.

Below are the Backroom Quilters at the C.C. Mellor Memorial Library in Edgewood, Pa. and the two quilts they created to honor the legacy of Fred Rogers. One quilt will hang permanently at the library's Fred Rogers Childrens' Room.
