Thousands Visit Neighborhood of Make-Believe Set
More than 5,000 fans of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood lined up out the door and down the street from WQED in Pittsburgh to see the famous set. Mr. McFeely was on hand both on Saturday and Sunday posing for photos with visitors and sharing memories of the program in the station's Studio A, which was renamed the Fred Rogers Studio. Fans got an up-close look at King Friday XIII's castle, X the Owl and Henrietta's tree and other set pieces.

Visitors came from as far away as Alaska and Korea, and included Fred Rogers' son John, who brought his six-year-old son Ian to see the world his grandfather created for children.
The longest running weekday children’s program on PBS, Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood is currently in its 42nd season.
